Royston has been a full-time Professional Magician/Entertainer for over 30 years. During this time his name has become a byword for reliability, professionalism and top quality entertainment.
He is an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle of London with Silver Star and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He is also a member of the Northamptonshire Magicians Club for which he has been President twice and is currently Secretary. Previously he was a member and Secretary of the Pentacle Club of Cambridge.
Royston has appeared at major events the length of breadth of the country, especially in the 90s when he owned, produced and fronted one of the country's most popular and successful touring family magic shows - The Care Bears. The show appeared in most major theatres in the UK including Northampton Derngate, Liverpool Empire, Sunderland Empire, Buxton Opera House, Rhyl Pavilion etc. Prior to The Care Bears he toured for many years with his own family show.
Royston has lectured to fellow magicians at the prestigious Magic Circle in London and several other magic clubs around the country.
Royston is CRB checked and has full Public Liability Insurance.

Northampton Borough Council, Wellingborough Borough Council, Daventry County Council, Kettering Borough Council , Chessington World of Adventures, Drusilla's Zoo Park (Sussex), Northampton Balloon Festival, British Home Stores, Marks and Spencers, Waterstones and Cafe Royal London etc.

Royston can provide either a stand-up Cabaret Style magic act or the more informal Close-Up/Table Magic for all types of adult functions.
The Cabaret Style act incorporates good strong magic and illusion presented in a friendly laid back style with comedy and participation. This act can be adapted to suit time required.
Close-Up/Table Magic can be provided for Weddings and Christenings, Christmas Parties, Wedding Anniversaries, Private Dinner Parties, Corporate Days etc. Again, the magic is presented in an informal, friendly and professional manner and can include effects with cards, coins, padlocks, dice, matchboxes, watches etc.
His clients for this type of entertainment over the years have included Nationwide Building Society, Grant Thornton, John Smiths Brewery, Avon Cosmetics, Northampton Fuschia Society, The Lighthouse Club Charity plus several Women Institutes etc.
Royston can also provide a solo guest magic act for theatre shows and can also act as MC/Compere for a variety of events.
